New Members Committee
Manchester PA Network Ambassador 2015 & 2017
Across a variety of roles, Jane has been an admin support professional for more than 25 years (yikes). Jane started her career as an administrative assistant in the Court Service before moving into legal secretarial work. After 13 years as a legal PA and secretarial team leader, Jane sought a new challenge and joined PwC.
Jane supports 2 partners & 2 directors in the People & Organisation team, which helps clients build and retain a high performing workforce and HR function.
Jane is a Fellow of EPAA and an enthusiastic member of the Manchester PA Network. Jane was the proud winner of the Network Ambassador category of the Manchester PA of the Year awards in 2015 and 2017 and was nominated in multiple categories in 2016. In 2017 Jane was named as a Rising Star in the EA/PA category of the We Are The City awards, which recognises the achievements of women below senior management, who represent the female talent pipeline and the next generation of future leaders.
In 2017 together with the others in the Newbies team, Jane organised & hosted the network’s Newbies events. The events proved to be very popular and, such a success that we’ll be running them again in 2018.
Outside of work & networking, Jane enjoys spending time with family, friends, her supportive partner Paul & her two dogs, Elli & Murphy. Jane is committed to helping the Network hit their fundraising target of £200,000 by 2020 for The Christie charity. After completing a firewalk last year, she’s now contemplating her next challenge.
PA, Indigo Planning
Manchester PA Network Ambassador 2016
Tracey is a PA at Indigo Planning’s Manchester office. Indigo is an independent consultancy, specialising in securing planning consents for a wide range of development projects across the UK.
Over the last six years Tracey has attended numerous Manchester PA Network events, continuously introducing new members, participating in fund raising activities including the 10K Manchester Run, and never missing an opportunity to promote MPAN.
This led to her being named Network Ambassador of the Year at the Manchester PA Network awards in October 2016.
Tracey recognises the importance of CPD for career professionals and is instrumental in helping her colleagues in Manchester plan and undertake their CPD requirements. At the end of 2015 she was successful in her application to join the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) as a Technical Member, showcasing her commitment to the planning profession as a non-planner. This route to membership was specifically aimed at support members working in town planning and has recently been recategorised as Associate membership. She continues to enjoy and work hard at promoting the RTPI in the north west.
She enjoys organising events and in her current role with Indigo assists with organising events for the Manchester Property Forum (MPF). She has been lucky in her current and previous roles to have the opportunities of arranging events in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Tracey still finds time to network with her PA peers, and is a member of MPANs new member committee. She enjoys meeting and greeting new members and introducing them to Manchester PA Network and doesn’t miss an opportunity to promote the PA profession.
